Light tremor felt across Los Angeles area
Residents report shaking and minor damage
A magnitude 4.6 earthquake struck west of Los Angeles on Friday, rattling residents across the region.
The epicenter of the quake was located several miles northwest of Malibu, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The quake hit at 9:24 AM PT and was felt as far away as San Diego and Santa Barbara.
No major damage or injuries have been reported, but some residents reported shaking and minor damage to buildings.
