Brighton Hove Albion Women's Football Club, also known as the Seagulls, is a professional women's football club based in Brighton and Hove, England. The club was formed in 1992 and currently plays in the FA Women's Super League, the top tier of English women's football.
Club History
Brighton Hove Albion Women's Football Club was founded in 1992 as Newhaven Town L.F.C. The club played in the Sussex County Women's Football League until 2007 when they joined the Southern Region Women's Football League. In 2013, the club won promotion to the FA Women's Premier League, the second tier of English women's football. In 2018, the club won promotion to the FA Women's Super League, the top tier of English women's football.
