AtriCure Announces $45 Million Headquarters Expansion
Expansion to Create Hundreds of High-Paying Jobs
Mason, Ohio-based company to invest in 240,000 square foot expansion
AtriCure, Inc. (ATRC), a leading innovator in surgical treatments and therapies for atrial fibrillation (Afib), announced a $45 million expansion of its Mason, Ohio headquarters. The expansion will bring the company's total headquarters space to 240,000 square feet.
The expansion is expected to create hundreds of high-paying jobs in the Cincinnati area. AtriCure currently employs over 1,000 people in Mason and plans to add an additional 200 jobs as a result of the expansion.
The expansion will include a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, as well as additional office and research space. The new facility will allow AtriCure to increase production of its innovative Afib treatments, including its AtriClip left atrial appendage closure device.
"This expansion is a testament to our commitment to innovation and to the Cincinnati community," said Mike Carrel, President and CEO of AtriCure. "We are excited to continue to grow our presence in Mason and to create new jobs in the area."
The expansion is expected to be completed in 2025.
