Spain Edge Past England to Win Record Fourth Euro Title

Spain have won a record-breaking fourth European Championship after defeating England 2-1 in a thrilling final at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

Goals from David Silva and Jordi Alba proved enough to give Spain the victory, with Harry Kane's late strike for England proving to be a consolation.

The victory means that Spain have now won the European Championship more times than any other nation, and they will now be the favorites to win the World Cup in 2018.

England, meanwhile, will be disappointed to have come so close to winning their first major tournament since 1966, but they can take heart from the fact that they played well against a very strong Spanish side.

The game was played in front of a capacity crowd of 70,000, and the atmosphere was electric from the start.

Spain started the game the brighter of the two sides, and they took the lead in the 26th minute when David Silva fired home from the edge of the area.

England came close to equalizing on several occasions, but they were unable to find a way past the impressive Spanish defense.

Spain doubled their lead in the 68th minute when Jordi Alba finished off a fine move involving Andres Iniesta and David Silva.

England pulled a goal back in the 75th minute when Harry Kane converted a penalty, but it proved to be too little too late.

In the end, Spain were deserving winners and they will be celebrating their victory long into the night.
