The Vancouver Canucks have continued their recent dominance over the Nashville Predators, extending their winning streak to five games with a 3-1 victory on Tuesday night. The win marks the first time in franchise history that the Canucks have won five consecutive games against the Predators.

The Canucks got off to a strong start in the game, outshooting the Predators 13-5 in the first period. They took the lead early in the second period when Elias Pettersson scored his 10th goal of the season on a power play.

The Predators tied the game later in the second period on a goal by Mikael Granlund, but the Canucks regained the lead less than two minutes later when Brock Boeser scored his 12th goal of the season.

The Canucks sealed the victory in the third period when Nils Hoglander scored his ninth goal of the season on a breakaway.

The win was a big one for the Canucks, who are now 5-2-0 in their last seven games. They are currently in third place in the Pacific Division, three points behind the first-place Calgary Flames.

The Predators, meanwhile, have now lost four straight games. They are currently in seventh place in the Central Division, six points behind the first-place Winnipeg Jets.
